Introducing Plamen, Maritime Professionals team member since March 2022.
Plamen has joined us as a project based Naval Architect and Marine engineer. Working within Marimecs – Marine Design & Engineering and Maritime Projects, he has already proved himself invaluable across a number of challenging projects! We warmly welcome Plamen to the Maritime Professionals Team!
The first contact
During an initial online meeting, the Maritime professionals HR team quickly understood that they had met an experienced and capable future team-member. A second meeting quickly followed, together with Maritime Professionals management and the grounds for a working relationship established.
Technical knowhow
Plamen’s background shows a broad depth of experience in international ship and yacht building, covering positions from Senior Naval Architect to Project Manager. Further, and most valuable in our constantly evolving technical industry, Plamen continues to invest in improving his technical knowledge. Starting with a Master degree in Naval Architecture, Plamen continued into an MBA and a second Master’s degree in the field of Renewable energy.
Further discussions with our HR professionals, revealed a deep passion for theoretical Naval Architecture. Diving into complicated FEM analysis, hydrodynamics and CFD would be a perfect match for Plamen’s thirst for knowledge. This type of flexibililty, along with a sharp proficiency in software programs such as Rhino, ORCA plugins and structural design and rendering makes Plamen an excellent example of a Maritime Professionals team member!
