Job description
As a project manager, you take care of the coordination and supervision of our projects and the communication with our client. You lead the project team and monitor the progress, planning and budget. On a project with an average of 25 people, you will work for 1.5 years on the engineering, procurement, production and installation. You will deliver the project turnkey and hand it over to the after sales department. The tasks include
- Control, monitor and report on the progress of the project;
- Setting up a project work plan
- Developing and managing the budgets;
- Taking care of a correct project administration and making prognoses of project results;
- Managing the project teams and supervising the cooperation between the teams;
- Providing optimal customer contact both internally and externally.
Requirements
In order to perform the function well, an education BSc. or MSc. Shipbuilding or Maritime Engineering complemented with a course in project management is a good background or basis. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar function or industry is required. Furthermore, you bring along:
- Broad experience in a technical project-based environment in a similar position;
- Analytical, financial and business organisational insight;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Extensive experience with planning methods and working in automated (ERP) systems;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
