Proposal Engineer

Job description

As a Proposal Engineer, you are the link in the bidding process, where you are closely involved in reviewing and understanding specifications and technical specifications. You are responsible for requesting prices, making detailed pre-calculations and preparing technical specifications of Yacht structures.

Moreover, you take care of determining the delivery time, verifying contracts with the issued quotations. Then transfer to the project manager and analyse the post-calculations. Cooperation with the Business Unit Director Yachting and project managers is central to this position, to make each project a success.

Requirements

To perform this job well, you will have a technical background at Intermediate + or BSc. level,. In addition, you will bring along:

• More than 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience in the calculation and budgeting of constructions;
• Mastery of Excel for analysing financial data;
• Good command of the English language, Dutch is a plus;
• Accurate and able to work under pressure without losing sight of quality;
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
• Knowledge of ERP is not a requirement, but an advantage.
