Job description
As the team lead, you are the professional who helps your team improve every day and ensure that projects can be optimally occupied. Together with the team, you arrive at the most optimal automation system for superyachts and offshore vessels, among others. You spend about 30% of your time standardising working methods/processes and sales support, the rest of your time guiding and growing your team.
In this role, you will be part of Management Team. You are responsible for defining the project scope and objectives and involve all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility (coordinating your assigned projects and project teams on progress, budget and quality).
In addition, you are responsible for managing and developing the team. The point of contact for our Management, Project Managers and team leads from other departments, among others. You will work together in an international and diverse team of professionals.
Your focus will be on relationships with suppliers and all other internal and external stakeholders. You will be involved in all phases of projects, from engineering and production to delivery and after-sales.
This translates to the following tasks:
- Managing, directing and coaching a team of +/- 16 software engineers;
- Standardising and securing working methods and processes;
- Providing input to sales;
- Setting up and securing the engineers annual plan, together with the other team leads.
Requirements
Do you possess guts and entrepreneurship? Do you already have experience as a team lead, or are you ready for the next step? Then you could be the team lead we are looking for.
Furthermore, you bring alog:
- Diploma in BSc. Electrical Engineering and/or Automation Engineering or similar work experience;
- Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems (e.g. Siemens, Cimplicity, Allen Bradley);
- Willingness to challenge, motivate, share knowledge and help your team develop.Sparring partner at all levels;
- Team player, reliable, committed and always focused on building lasting relationships;
- Excellent command of English in word and writing, Dutch is a plus.
