Project Leader Engineering

Job description

As Project Leader Engineering, you will organize engineering with the various implementing engineering parties and you will provide functional leadership to the assembled engineering team. For the project, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of an integrated engineering package for all disciplines that fits within the established frameworks of regulations, quality requirements and standards.

Activities appropriate to this position are:

• Initiating, establishing and providing full engineering scope, hourly budget and schedule and managing progress;
• Delivery of a supported and realistic engineering schedule;
• Delivery of a defined engineering package;
• Creating insight into any risks in order to make them plan manageable;
• Preparing the impact of changes in customer requirements and consulting with project leader;
• Coordinating technical information flows between the various business units;

Requirements

Above all, you are someone who is excellent at being "above the project. You are good at delegating, but you think about solutions. You know when to act and when not to act. You keep people on track. Furthermore, you have:

• A completed technical college education towards the maritime industry or demonstrable college work and thinking level;
• You are able to connect and motivate stakeholders in the process, you feel at home in an ever-changing environment where the customer requirement is central;
• The competencies as customer and service oriented, persuasive, decisive, collaborative, stress resistant and flexible describe your personality;
• You also have an analytical mind and have good communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

Our client is a luxury custom-build yacht builder with multiple locations in the Netherlands. At this yard location, yachts from 40 to 80 meters are built.from 3 dry docks.
